Recent work

I painted these pictures for River of Life's Night in Bethlehem event. The first one is a picture of Bethlehem the star in the sky and Sheppard watching their sheep. This picture was hung in the alley behind the church. There where real sheep and Sheppards and a real angle proclaiming Jesus' birth.

This picture I painted last year. My family and I played a real Jewish family. This is the outside of the home. I also painted two interior walls that where hung facing inward to our booth.

This is a painting of a city wall that leads you into the marketplace.

This is the actual market place. I painted pillars after seeing pictures of what a real Jerusalem marketplace looked like back in Jesus' day. There is a stone wall behind the pillars.

This last picture is a painting I did of the Mount of Olives. It would be what you would see to the right of Jerusalem as you would be entering the southern gate of the city. Which this painting hung to the right of the city gate.

T-shirt Pillow! Illustration #37-43

T-Shirt Pillow Craft Idea!
I came up with this fun kids craft idea, illustrated it, and sent it to a children's magazine.  This is such a fun easy project to do with any 5 year old and older!

Use an old t-shirt or buy a new one and decorate it!
Then cut off the sleeves and collier to make a square.
Next cut off the corners of the square.
Finally cut 1"- 1 1/2" slits into each side of the square.
Now start tying the two squares together making sure to leave a hole for the stuffing.
Stuff it and tie it shut!
Tada! Now you have your own t-shirt pillow!

I'll Be Seeing You. Illustration #36

I painted this picture after a song by Billie Holiday called I'll Be Seeing You. I absolutely love that song. I love the verse "In that small cafe, the park across the way, the children's carousel, the chestnut tree, the wishing well. " I used acrylic paints on a canvas board. I took a really bad picture of the painting, I need to get a better one so it looks kinda weird. I just love this romantic scene I am really into love songs right now.

Acrylic Illustration #35

Here is a picture I just recently painted last week. I call it Love. I used acrylics for the clouds and colored pencil and oil pastels for the birds. To add texture I first glued down ripped paper and then painted over it with acrylic paint. I took some pictures of clouds and wanted to paint them. Then thought I needed to add something else to the picture so I put the doves in front of the clouds.
